I finished 4 customer wigs today … so far! I’m going to keep working to see how many I can get done in one day!

THREE WEEKS TILL ACEN!?!?!

When did that happen? Wow … I haven’t even thought about what I should cosplay. hahaha! I hope I find some time next weekend to whip something up. We will see.

91.8 The Fan

I had an interview with the wonderful peeps from 91.8 The Fan today! It is a great online radio station that has anime and j-pop/rock music playing all the time, and great interviews from the fancies of the anime community including voice actors and big-name cosplayers. It’s worth a listen! Or two, or three!

The interview aired live at 2pm, and will be accessible from their site in the next few days! I had a really fun time, and got to speak a bit about how I got into cosplay, and all my various projects going on right now.

Ohayocon 2010

Here we come! I will be at Ohayocon this year so if you see me make sure to come up and say hello! I will be debuting two new costumes, a Hikaru from MKR, and Blind Mag from REPO: the generic opera. Actually, these are not new at all! I had epic dreams of giant costumes completed for Ohayocon, but duty called and I just had too much work to do! Hikaru and Blind Mage have been sitting 95% complete in the back of my closet for well over half a year now so I dragged them out and took an evening to fix them up!! Wooo!! So they feel old to me, but are new to the rest of the world! XD Will anyone else from Repo or MKR going to be there?

Looking for Volunteers!

We are asking for a few volunteers during the convention to be a part
of our youtube video project! As part of our brand, limebarb.com has
just started a great tutorials section on our youtube channel for
friends and fans to learn a little more …about the hobby they love -
cosplay! We will also be adding supplementary material in the form of
behind the scenes videos at limebarb studios, and convention coverage!!

We are looking for lively people with good speaking skills to in
interviewed on camera about their experiences at conventions, and the
love of their various hobbies.

Finally got pics of my Suu costume up and running that were taken FOOOOOOOREVER ago! *,* Tell me what ya think!

There are a lot of skinny, luxuriously lanky characters in anime but don’t you think that the characters in Code Geass might be … too skinny? I feel pain for them when I look at their frail bodies, like the might snap in two they tripped over their own foot. I might even go as far as to say they look like they just got out of a concentration camp …. maybe. Wait, I just did say that. *,*

Does anyone feel like seeing images like this give them body image issues? I’m asking this seriously! I’m really curious about how images in anime affect how people preserve themselves and others.

Hey Guys! XD I am happy to be starting out the new year good! I am eating better, and kinda-sorta attempting to work out. *,* hehehehe …..

I also managed to get through my massive pile of laundry this week, wash, dryed, folded and put away. For anyone that knows me well I am notorious for massive piles of laundry! 5 loads this time! EEEK! I was running out of clothes. WORST OF ALL I was down to the dreaded underwear at the back of the drawer! The old, hole-filled that you would never want anyone to see you in, the ones you normally only wear on your worst PMS days (men please disregard that comment) … but I would wear it to not have to do laundry for one more day! :3

But no more of that! It’s out with the old, in with the new! Speaking of new we have just started a super awesome top-secret film project which we hope to launch in mere weeks. So stay tuned to here and lb.c for more information!
