I have cosplayed since I was a junior in high school. It all started in 1997 when I attended my first anime convention and saw all the people in costumes! It was love at first site. After that I knew I had to make a costume for my next convention! Since then I have been making a few costumes a year for myself. Eventually I got so good that people wanted to hire me to make their costumes! And thus limebarb.com was born!

Since 2002 making costumes for others has been my full time job! It stated so small, just me and one sewing machine in my apartment! Then I went to school for fashion design, and over the years it grew and grew, and now we have out own studio and I have 5 great, dedicated employees who are all awesome crafts-people in their own right!

I still love to cosplay when I have the time, and I am happy to have this page to share my projects with all of you! I often cosplay from shows or movies that I like, right now I am on a big nostalgia-kick – cosplaying things I watched when I was a kid! XD I am highly drawn to costumes that are incredibly complex, and offer me the experience to learn a new skill through crafting it! In fact, my own cosplays have been the best opportunities for me to try and perfect new techniques that I am able to offer my clients later! I couldn’t be where I am today if I wasn’t able to make all the mistakes on my own costumes first! J

Most of my days are spent sewing, pattern drafting, going through emails with Fefe, styling wigs, etc. In the evenings, or when I have some time on the weekends I try to slowly but surely work on my own projects! I hope to share them with you soon!
