costume notes: I grew up loving the Super Mario games, me and my brother spent a lot of hours in front of the TV.  Then we spent a lot of hours outside in the yard, were we pretended the yard was filled with lava so we navigate the perimeter of the yard hanging onto the fence to not fall in. That had to be something Mario inspired. And a nerd was born. . .

So Princess Peach was one of my first cosplay choices dispite my distast for pink, and the knoweledge that i don’t do great with blonde hair. But, I went ahead any ways! The most challenging part of this costume was the hair, which is alot like a sculpture! My first Peach wig took me atleat 25 hours to contruct! Now I can do it in less than half the time – which is still a long time to spend with a wig. *,* The dress was in a bridal satin, with embroidered appliques for all the designs that decorate the dress.
