costume notes: Once upon a time I made this beautiful outfit! This is an outfit inspired by the Grimm’s Fairy Tale of Snow White and Rose Red – not to be confused with the princess Snow White! Which is also a Grimm’s Fairy Tale … it’s all a little confusing. The design is inspired from traditional German costumes with a generous helping of sexiness! The corset and skirt are made of a luxerous blue velvet, while the undershirt and petticoat layers are made of very pretty irredescnent chiffons.  The petticoat is made up of many many delicatly sewn ruffles of chiffon in alternating colors. The outfit also has matching bloomers with garters attached! The whole outift is accented by white and blue silk roses.
